Benefits of Joining Our Group.
- This group is open to both educators and parents of young learners.
- The program lasts two weeks.
- Participants are eligible for receive an Echo Show device if needed.
- Participants will receive a book, coloring sheets, and other materials (i.e., Crayons, stickers, activity journal).
- Participants will collaborate with the Smarticles team on ways to improve Color Together.
- Those participants who complete the program will receive an Amazon gift card.
Agreement of Participation
Our program will run for two weeks in April 2024. To participate, you must agree to the following:
- Join Smarticles’ Facebook Group and an onboarding Zoom call.
- Use our Alexa Apps with a child or a group of children, completing two sessions per week.
- Submit an audio recording of one session.
- Complete a pre- and post-survey, and an exit interview about your child’s experience with Color Together.
- Provide images of kids engaging with Alexa App –OR– a snapshot of their coloring sheet.
- Signed media release form.
FAQs
What’s the purpose the user group?
Hosting user groups ensure Color Together meets the need of the children we serve. From the group, we plan to collect improvement suggestions and identify problems encountered while using Color Together . Group members will also get a first look at new features.
How long will the program last?
The program will run the first two weeks in April. Members are welcomed to remain in our Facebook group and continue to have access to Color Together.
Why are you asking for a recording?
Sometimes, participants become so focused on using Color Together that they may forget everything they’ve experienced during the session. Having a recording gives us a glimpse into what happen while engaging with Alexa.
What will you do with the data you collect?
We don’t collect any self-identifying data through Alexa nor from the surveys. Data from the sign-up sheet and . Only the Smarticles will listen to your recordings, which will be deleted four weeks after submitted.
What if I want to leave the program before the completing all four sessions?
We understand unforeseen circumstances happen. If you’re unable to complete your sessions, contact us and we can either give you more time or off-boarding you from the program.
